2007 Miss Georgia American Sweetheart!

Elise Battle

Elise is the 9 year old daughter of Sharon & Orlando Battle.  In her spare time, she enjoys playing softball, riding her bike,  playing video games, and hanging out with her older brother, Tony.  Elise began modeling and pageantry at the age of 4.  She has been represented by Atlanta’s Young Faces and Arthur Arthur Atlanta.  She has done runway modeling for Precious Angels at the Atlanta Apparel Mart, catalog modeling for Highlights for Children, and has done in-house modeling for Carter’s Children’s Clothing. 

Elise has also had experience in acting.  She was a photo double on the set of The Fighting Temptations, which her brother also worked on.  Most recently, both of them worked on the independent film “Motion Music” which is scheduled to debut at the Sundance Film Festival.

Elise’s other passion is pageantry.  She has competed in several local and state pageants.  Her ambition, however, was to compete in and win the American Coed Pageant.  Her dream finally came true on July 7, 2007 when she was crowned the Miss Georgia American Sweetheart!
